Sloping a sharp 9m from the back to its front, this hillside Bicton block posed a huge design challenge however Giles Harden Jones of Harden Jones Architects managed to conquer this site and design a luxury home with the payoff being uninterrupted views across parklands, the river, city and the ocean from the elevated position.

Signature Custom Homes sales manager Craig Peverall said the house was spread over three levels with a 4 car undercroft garage and storage zone at its lowest point which was carefully designed for the steeply sloping 1012sqm block.

“The clients had lived in the area but in an old house and now wanted a contemporary style custom designed home,” he said.

“They wanted clean lines and a minimalist feel.”
